Our 3 gîtes are located near the border of the Périgord and Limousin regions; between Corrèze, a land of contrast, varied climate and landscapes and the historically-rich Dordogne; the heart of the South-West in a region where a temperate climate and oceanic influences make for the gentle life.

Two of the gîtes are in south-west Corrèze, nestling in the little village of Chapelle Salamard, Saint Solve, 20 minutes from Brive la Gaillarde. The Brive basin otherwise know as «The Gateway to the South» faces the Périgord where austere Limousin granite gives way to warm brasier stone. A land of oak and chestnut groves, it is also a land of fruit and vegetable crops and particularly the Limousin apple. A land of plenty with essentially rural housing and verdant landscapes!

Our third gîte is located in Pazayac, a small village 5 kilometres from Terrasson Lavilledieu, « The town of gardens ». Périgord Noir «The land of a thousand chateaux» and «The cradle of humanity», extends along the Dordogne and Vézère valleys in the south-east of the Dordogne department. This region known not only for its chateaux, pre-historic sites, medieval villages and landscapes but also for its local produce and gastronomy.
